What are Target Prices?
Target prices in Quantmatix are dynamic price objectives that appear when a Delta Reversal signal is triggered. These targets give you a clear sense of where the system expects the asset to go next.
They are automatically adjusted for:
The volatility of the specific asset
The assetās position relative to its trading bands
These targets are not fixed price predictions. Instead, they are guidelines designed to reduce guesswork and help you make more confident trading decisions.
š How are Targets Calculated?
Quantmatix computes each target using two key, asset-specific factors:
Recent Volatility
More volatile assets get wider targets; less volatile ones get tighter ranges.Position Within Price Bands
If the asset has more room to move within its trading bands, the system will project a broader potential move.
This adaptive logic ensures each target reflects current market conditions.
ā±ļø How Long Are Targets and Stops Valid?
All targets and stops are evaluated over a fixed window of 10 periods (e.g., bars or candles) from the moment the Delta Reversal signal is generated.
This means the hit rate and price objective are only relevant within that 10-period timeframe.
š¢ What Do the Hit Rate Percentages Mean?
The hit rate percentages shown next to each target and stop indicate how often that level has been reached in the pastāwithin the same 10-period windowābased on similar setups for the same asset.
For example:
A 70% hit rate means that, historically, this asset has reached that level 7 out of 10 times within 10 periods of a Delta Reversal signal.
These hit rate percentages are based on actual historical outcomes. Every time price hits a target or stop, the system records the resultāgiving you a data-backed confidence level for each signal.
š ļø How to Turn On Targets and Stops in Charts
To view targets and stops on your chart:
Open any chart in the Quantmatix platform.
Click the āIndicatorsā button (top of the chart).
Look for āDelta Reversalā in the list and click to expand it.
Toggle āShow Targets and Stopsā to the on position.
Once enabled, you'll see the projected levels directly on the chart, along with their corresponding hit rate percentages.
